Res League & Championship
It was a busy few days for our reserve team who play 3 games within the week. They recorded a good win against Truagh on Tuesday last week and they remained on top of the Res league 1b table.Throughout the game the Emmet’s played some lovely football and registered some great scores.
Friday night saw neighbours Inniskeen travel to Emmet Park for the O Duffy Championship. This was an exciting game with great scores and battles through the field. Unfortunately the Emmets missed a penalty, had a tally of over 12 wides and a red card which left the victory out of their reach and suffered a 2 point loss and out of the O Duffy cup championship.

Yesterday wasn’t to be for Monaghan GAA as they bowed out
of the championship. We couldn’t be prouder of our club man Stephan O Hanlon
and his team mates for all their efforts all year.

After an absolutely pulsating u/10 boys semi- final the Carrickmacross Corduff Community Games team progress to the final.
This was a gutsy and hard fought semi-final with both teams producing some excellent skill and determination.
Hard luck to Castleblayney Faughs GFC and congratulations to the U/10 boys Gaelic team. They now play Magheracloone in the final at some stage this week.

She is a loyal emmet supporter and on this special day everyone in Carrick Emmets wishes you the very best of luck on your retirement.

Hurling
Feile
What a brilliant day. Our U15 went down to the National Féile in Wexford. We topped our group winning all 3 games against teams from Leitrim, San Francisco and Longford. We then played Naomh Brid of Carlow in the semi final. The lads played out of their skin and came away with winning get for the first time ever into a Féile Cup final. We played a very big New York team in final and unfortunately came up short in the end.
Missive thanks our large travelling supporters. This is what Hurling is all about
