Tyholland 0-7 Emmets 2-18
Friday night saw the Emmets travel to Tyholland for the penultimate league game. Tyholland opened the scoring from the start but thanks to Cian Conlon and his shooting boots he soon had the Emmets in the lead. It was evident from the tenacious tackling and work rate of the Emmets player they were hungry for the victory. Several turnovers and forced errors involving James Conlon, Darragh Mee, Gary McEnaney and Declan Lynch allowed Cian Conlon, Eanna Allen, Karl McMenamin & Jack Carolan register scores. Some great running play involving Sean McKenna, Niall Meehan and Oisin McNally was causing Tyholland problems resulting in more scores from Cian Conlon & Declan Lynch. Half time Emmets 0-10 Tyholland 0-4
The second saw Cian Conlon continue to register scores. A super kick out from Oran Finnegan found Cillian Cromwell who saw Fionan Carolan racing through the middle to slot it home to the back of the net for the Emmets first goal. Niall Loughman at full forward was the play maker for the next three scores from Cian Conlan & Darragh Mee. Another super long kick out from Finnegan found the hard working Cromwell, who saw Cian Conlon had left his defender and scored the Emmets second goal of the game.
Tyholland 0-7 Emmets 2-18

U/8 Monster Blitz in Cloghan. Very well done to all the players and coaches.
Super win for our yellow U/12 team today against Castleblayney. The boys fought hard till the very end and showed great skill and determination.
U/12 Blue Squad
Well done to our U/12 blue team and management who had a good win over Traugh.
Hard look to our U/12 green squad who were very unlucky to lose out to Blayney 3.7- 2.7.
Great effort from all the boys
Well done to our U/16 team who secured a draw against neighbours Magheracloone.
Short a few players due to holidays the Emmets battled very hard throughout the game. They never gave up and a well-deserved goal in the dying minutes ensured a draw and a share of the points.
Good luck to our U/10 teams and coaches who take part in their monster blitz in Cloghan this weekend.
A key was found on the top spectator section of PTP tonight.
