Intermediate Championship
All roads lead to Emmet Park this Saturday evening as the Emmets start their Intermediate championship campaign. We wish the best of luck to Jimmy, Cian and the team in their championship.Please come along and support our senior team. We look forward to welcoming our U/8 team who will be playing at half time in the game.
 
The Ryan Gartlan memorial takes place  Friday 16th August at 7.30pm in Emmet Park. 
Our U18 team take on Shercock GfC. All welcome.
 
U/ 10 BWe had a fantastic exhibition of free flowing football from our U10s on Saturday against Aughnamullen. Our U9s were also very impressive showing fantastic skills and scoring some great points . Keep up the great work at training boys and let’s see everyone back on Tuesday evening. 
 
Well done to Emmet referee Joe Patton who  took charge of the IFC game Blackhill V Clones at the weekend.

Juvenile Flag Day:We are appealing once again for volunteers for our annual Flag Day which takes place this Saturday, 17th of August.
 
This is one of our biggest fund raising events of the year and all money collected will go towards the running and development of our juvenile club . We would really appreciate your help with this event. You can contact Rosie Finnegan on 087 771 4411.

Carrick Emmets were saddened to hear of the passing of loyal supporter Francie Matthews. We offer our deepest sympathies to the Matthews family Francis, Andrew, Mary, Pauline, grandchildren and extended family on the passing of Francie.

Rounders
A busy week for our Junior ladies squad who pulled off some outstanding performances this week . It started with a narrow defeat to Inniskeen on Tuesday night in Inver but there was some excellent performances and on Thursday evening the second of the Monaghan derby's took place   both teams were well matched but a strong finish in the 4th and 5th innings saw us take the win over Drumhowan. The ladies finished off a stunning week with a hard fought win away to Derry side St Treas and finished the group in top place booking a quarter final clash on August 18th .. there will be little rest as our Junior Mixed team take on Inniskeen away tomorrow morning @11.

We are so proud of Chloe who captained the Monaghan camogie u14 team today & were shield winners at the national blitz today in Wexford

Ladies 
Our senior team recorded their first win in the Intermdaite Championship when they defected Truagh on Sunday last Carrick 4:9 Truagh 3:9
U/12 : It was a mixed bag of fortunes for our U/12 teasms. Div 1 team were defeted by Castleblayney on Thursday night  our Div 3 defeated Castleblayney at PTP on Friday night.
U/16 Shield Final was postponed and will be rescheduled for a later date.
PDP was out in force today and we were well represented by 4 of our U14s Lily Cogley, Ciara Kiernan, Orla Lynch and Cara O’Reilly as they took on Armagh and Cavan up in Middletown
Well done girls on a great performance, those colours suit you but maybe not as good as ours do.
