We would like to extend our sincere condolences on the passing of Michael A. (Mick) Duffy.
Mick was a former Emmets player who lined out at full back and centre half back during the 1960s and was a member of the club’s winning Junior Championship team of 1964. He also proudly represented County Westmeath during his playing career. Mick is the grandfather of Eoghan, a current senior player with the club.
A guard of honour will be formed by Carrickmacross Emmets in Mick’s memory. We ask all members and players to meet at St Joseph’s at 10.40am on Thursday morning.
